Description: 40 count, 4 wall, beginner/intermediate line dance

Start dancing on lyrics

TWO SETS - ROCK STEP, COASTER STEP

1-2       Rock left forward, recover to right

3&4     Step left back, step right together, step left forward

5-6       Rock right forward, recover to left

7&8     Step right back, step left together, step right forward

 

TWO SETS - ROCK SIDEWAYS AND CHA-CHA STEPS IN PLACE

9-10     Rock left to side, recover to right

11-12   Step left together, step right in place, step left in place

13-14   Rock right to side, recover to left

15-16   Step right together, step left in place, step right in place

 

On the side-rocks-triples-in-place, you may want to do a full spin during the triple

in place. The first spin would be to the right and the second spin to the left. You

should start spinning as you recover from the rock step

VINE LEFT WITH A FULL TURN LEFT, SHUFFLE SIDE AND ROCK

17-18   Step left to side, cross right behind left

19-20   Turn ¼ left and step left forward, turn ¼ left and step right together

21&22 Turn ½ left and chassé side left, right, left

23-24     Rock right back, recover to left

 

The vine may be danced as a weave without bringing the feet together on

count 20. You may step to the side instead. This is how it is usually danced

VINE RIGHT WITH A FULL TURN RIGHT, SHUFFLE SIDE AND ROCK

25-26   Step right to side, cross left behind right

27-28   Turn ¼ right and step right forward, turn ¼ right and step left together

29&30 Turn ½ right and chassé side right, left, right

31-32     Rock left back, recover to right

 

The vine may be danced as a weave without bringing the feet together on

count 28. You may step to the side instead. This is how it is usually danced

SYNCOPATED SIDE TOUCHES, ¾ WALK-AROUND

33-34&            Step left to side, clap, step right together

35-36&            Step left to side, clap, step right together

37-38               Turn ¼ left and step left forward, step right forward

39-40               Turn ½ left (weight to left), step right together

 

Option: Stomp together on count 40
