START WITH WEIGHT ON LEFT  (REMEMBER TAKE SMALL STEPS)

RUMBA BOX:  SIDE, TOGETHER, BACK, HOLD, SIDE, TOGETHER, FORWARD, HOLD

1-2       Step right to right, step left beside right

3-4       Step back right, Hold

5-6       Step left to left, step right beside left

7-8       Step left forward, Hold

STEP RIGHT, STEP LEFT, STEP RIGHT, HOLD; STEP LEFT, STEP RIGHT, STEP LEFT, HOLD

1-2       Step right to right, step left beside right 

3-4       Step right to right, Hold

5-6       Step left beside right, step right

7-8       Step left beside right, Hold

ROCK STEP RIGHT, RECOVER, CROSS RIGHT OVER LEFT

  • 1-2 Rock right to right, recover on left
  • 3-4 Step right across left  (this will move you slightly forward), Hold

ROCK STEP LEFT, RECOVER, CROSS LEFT OVER RIGHT

1-2      Rock left to left, recover weight to right

3-4      Step Left across right (this will move you slightly forward), Hold

 

1/4  PIVOT TURN LEFT, RECOVER, 1/4  PIVOT TURN LEFT, RECOVER

1-2      Step forward onto right, make a 1/4 turn to left (pivoting on the balls of your feet)

3-4      Step forward onto right, make a 1/4 turn to left (pivoting on the balls of your feet)

LARGE STEP TO RIGHT (LUNGE/CANTER), SLIDE LEFT TO RIGHT, STEP LEFT

  • 1 Lunge to right  (large step to right) leaving left foot in place with toe pointed

 2-3   Drag left toe in towards the right foot     

 4      Step left beside right (weight ends on left)
